Builder
Open to everyoneFrom a sentence
to a system.
Describe the app you need. A team of AI agents plans it, builds it on a real machine, catches its own errors and ships it live. Hosting, domains and your own accounts are part of it.
No account needed to try: describe it and watch the Designer build a first version, live.
Replay, sped up · the real run took 8m 23s
An animated replay of Paddlewheel building studio bookings in Plan mode: a research agent gathers references, a task agent writes tasks with acceptance criteria, the coding agent builds each one in a sandbox, catches a failing build and fixes it, then the app is committed, deployed and promoted to production.
In Plan mode a research agent gathers references, a task agent turns your idea into tasks with acceptance criteria, and a coding agent builds and checks each one on a real machine. Watch every step, and step in whenever you like.
A real machine
It runs the code, not just writes it.
A machine per project
A terminal, the files and a dev server in a sandbox of its own. Open it and type, if that's how you like to work.
Click to change it
Visual Edit rewrites the element's styles in your source and hot-reloads. No prompt needed for a colour or a heading.
Every change is a commit
Compare any two versions, or go back to an older one in a click. The agents' work and yours sit in the same history.
Hosting and domains
Production is a pointer.
Every app gets a free address with TLS. Your own domain is on Pro (1) and Ultimate (3). Prefer your own hosting? Connect Netlify and deploys land in your account.
Connectors
Plugs into the tools you already use.
Free includes 3 connections, Pro 15 and Ultimate 50.
Memory and voice
It remembers. And it listens.
Every build starts from the brief
Paddlewheel keeps a short brief for each project: what the app is, the stack, recent decisions and known problems. The agents read it before each run, so you don't have to say it twice.
Say it instead of typing it
A microphone on the prompt. Speak in your own language and it goes in as English, ready to send. On Pro and Ultimate.
Ownership
Connect your accounts. Keep what you build.
Your database
Connect Supabase and your database is created inside your own Supabase organization.
Your hosting
Connect Netlify and every deploy lands in your own account. Skip it and we host the app for you.
Your code
Connect GitHub for a private repository that stays in sync both ways.
Your domain
Point your own domain at the app with one DNS record. TLS issues itself.

The studio owner
Bookings live in a notebook and three group chats.
They typed
“A booking app for my yoga studio, with a weekly class schedule and memberships.”
- A schedule members can book from
- Class passes with credits left
- An admin view to add and move classes
The agency
Leads slip between the first call and the invoice.
They typed
“A CRM for my agency that tracks every lead from the first call to the paid invoice.”
- A pipeline board from lead to won
- Notes and the next step on every lead
- Invoices that show what's paid and due
The operations lead
Nobody knows what's running low until it's gone.
They typed
“An inventory tracker for our two warehouses that warns me before anything runs out.”
- Stock per item, per warehouse
- Low-stock flags against a threshold
- A log of every move, with who and when
With the others
Builder ships it. The other four are how it gets there.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want in plain words. If you do code, the terminal, the files and the full git history are all there.
How long does a build take?
Most first builds take 3 to 10 minutes in Plan mode, which researches and plans before it writes code. Quick mode skips the planning and builds in one pass. Either way you can watch every step, and stop it at any point.
What happens when the build fails?
The agents run the build on the project's machine, read the real error output, fix the code and build again. You see each step as it happens, and if a bad change does get through, the last good deploy is one click away.
What does it build with?
Next.js with TypeScript, Tailwind and shadcn/ui. When your app needs a database and sign-in, connect Supabase and the agents set it up in your own Supabase organization.
Can I change the code myself?
Yes. Edit files on the project's machine, use the terminal, or connect GitHub and work in your own editor: the private repository stays in sync both ways.
Where does my app live?
On Paddlewheel, at a free address with TLS, from the first deploy. Connect Netlify and deploys go to your own account instead. Your own domain is on Pro and Ultimate.
What's a credit?
One message to the agents. The Free plan includes 4 a day, Pro 15 and Ultimate 35, and you can buy more in packs.
Before it's built, it's drawn. Design is where your team and the agents draw it.
